How to Recognize Heat Stroke in Your Dog

Here in Central Florida, being outside in the summer months can sometimes be a little too hot to handle. While we often know when we get overheated, our furry friends don't and can't tell us. That’s when you may encounter heat stroke in dogs. It's up to us to recognize the signs in our canine companions, for example:
Rapid Panting Diarrhea
Bright Red Tongue Sticky/Thick Saliva
